Donna, great question! Because they’re processed in a canning bath, the jars can be stored in your pantry just like a jar of store-bought jam. Once you open the jar of preserves, reseal it tightly and store in the refrigerator. My family loves the fresh peach flavor of this jam, and I hope you do, too! ~Eliza

I’m a little confused regarding the storage of the preserves. It states to store the jam jars in a cool, dark place. Are you saying these don’t need refrigeration?

Hi Eliza, I scrolled through all of the comments and found my question was answer on the last one! I’m using liquid pectin so now I know it will work as well. Love that you have continued to respond and answer all questions!! Happy canning! Cheryl

Martha, thank you for your comment and I’m so glad you are happy with the recipe. I think your idea to add jalapenos for a spicy flavor accent sounds brilliant! If you try it, I’d love to hear how it turns out! ~Eliza

So glad you’re happy with the recipe! I find that the quicker cooking time preserves more of the fresh peach flavor, too. Thanks for your comment. ~Eliza
