We have a sandbox for our kids and ants like to go in there, so we’ve been told to sprinkle some around the box and even mix some in, though the second part of that is debatable, as some claim that the cinnamon can be a skin irritant.

Non-toxic, smells great, and works well (as long as you’re using a high-quality one — we found there was a difference between the cheaper stuff and the stronger stuff).
