I love filling a large platter or tray with a delicious mix of sweet and savory red, white, and blue foods&mdash;everything from juicy strawberries and tangy blueberries to crunchy yogurt pretzels and creamy brie cheese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This easy-to-make snack board is the perfect way to celebrate, offering something for every taste, and it&rsquo;s always a crowd-pleaser. If possible, opt for thinner slices, as they&rsquo;re easier to shape into roses. You can also substitute sliced pepperoni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strawberries<\/strong> &ndash; I buy organic strawberries, since strawberries are frequently on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.happysimpleliving.com\/dirty-dozen-foods\/\">Dirty Dozen list<\/a> for excessive pesticide use. Look for ripe, fresh strawberries that are bright red with no white spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Raspberries<\/strong> &ndash; Choose plump, deep red berries that are free from any mold or soft spots. Raspberries are delicate, so wash them gently and spread on paper towels to dry just before putting them on the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Blueberries<\/strong> &ndash; Look for firm, deep blue berries with a smooth skin. Avoid any that have a lot of soft spots or wrinkles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Crackers<\/strong> &ndash; I used lavosh crackers for this board, but you can use any crackers you like. Just make sure they&rsquo;re sturdy enough to hold up against the cheeses and meats without breaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brie Cheese<\/strong> &ndash; You can substitute your favorite mild, creamy cheese such as Camembert, Havarti, St. Angel, or fresh mozzarella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Red Licorice pieces, such as Twizzler Bites<\/strong> &ndash;&nbsp;These add a fun, chewy texture and a burst of red color. You can also cut regular red licorice ropes or twists in bite-sized pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yogurt Pretzels <\/strong>&ndash; Look for pretzels coated with a smooth layer of yogurt for a creamy contrast to the savory ingredients. You can also substitute white chocolate coated pretzels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment Needed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All you need to make a great party board is a <strong>large board<\/strong>, <strong>platter<\/strong>, or <strong>tray<\/strong>, and a <strong>sharp knife<\/strong> for cutting ingredients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on what you decide to serve, you might also need <strong>toothpicks<\/strong> for skewering and <strong>small bowls<\/strong> for dips or sauces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step by Step Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>STEP ONE: <\/strong>If you like, review this short video about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/j4ZaN6aWpYU\">how to make salami roses<\/a>.
