You'll love making your own old fashioned lemonade from scratch. It's easy to make and so refreshing, with the bright, true citrus flavor of fresh lemons.
Combine the sugar and hot water in a pitcher, and stir to dissolve the sugar.
Add the lemon juice, ice water and salt; stir.
Serve the lemonade over ice garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint sprigs. Makes about 10 cups. Refrigerate for up to 5 days.

Feel free to use more or less sugar to suit your taste. You can also substitute agave nectar, honey, stevia, or your favorite sweetener.Store the lemonade in a sealed container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 5 days for best flavor.
