Sweet, chewy blondies are topped with a layer of chocolate toffee bits and baked to perfection. This easy recipe makes 24 bars, and is guaranteed to make your friends and family happy!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a 9- by 13-inch cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until blended. Spread the batter in the prepared pan. Sprinkle the toffee pieces evenly over the top and press lightly.

Notes
* You can either use toffee bits from a bag, or you can chop about 6 regular size Heath or Skor bars (1.4 ounces each) to make about 1 cup of chopped toffee.To store the blondies, wrap tightly or keep in an airtight container. Store at room temperature and enjoy within 5 days for best flavor.
